Meet the Team
Mr. Stefan Krautwald has been a long-standing technology entrepreneur and executive in Latin America. Stefan currently runs Latin Leap, a Singapore and LATAM-based Venture Capital focused on emerging market tech connections. Some of his past corporate experiences include Managing Director roles in Cdiscount International (Groupe Casino) and Arvato (Bertelsmann). He is a co-founder of Latin America’s fastest-growing online pharmacy pure player, Farmalisto.com operating in Peru, Mexico, Chile, and Colombia.
Prior to this Stefan co-founded and co-led as Managing Director of Rocket Internet-backed Dafiti LATAM (IPOed through Global Fashion Group). He is also a co-founder of Fluz.app, an innovative cash-back application in the U.S. Stefan is an active early-stage investor and advisor to many technology start-ups in Latin America, Asia, and Southern Europe. Deeply committed to leapfrogging through technology in Latin America, Stefan saw the opportunity to link Southeast Asian innovation to emerging markets in LATAM and develop the tech connect of private and public actors both from Latin America and Asia. Latin Leap is the official market entry partner of the Singapore Government for tech companies in Latin America.
Stefan holds a Master of Science in Management from the WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management in Germany, where he leads the alumni chapter for Latin America. He has completed executive education programs at INALDE, Colombia as well as VC University of The University of Berkeley. He is a Member of the Fund Director Association in Singapore.
